U.S. Accreditation Inc. offers accreditation for occupational health and safety management systems conforming to ISO 45001. (Existing accreditations for ANSI/AIHA Z10, BS OHSAS 18001, and/or CSA Z1000 are being migrated to ISO 45001.)

OHSMS is a framework that allows an organization to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, help achieve compliance with health and safety legislation and continually improve its performance.

A Certification Body applying for OHSMS as per ISO 45001:2018 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation must conform to ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO 17021-10, and UAF:CAB: OHSAS and other additional International requirements as detailed in Specific Requirements for Accreditation for OHSMS Scheme.
