As an independent accreditation body, United States Accreditation Inc. does not discriminate against any of its clients. Its services are generally available to all conformity assessment bodies and are invoiced based on cost in accordance with the applicable fee schedule.
Its organisation ensures that United States Accreditation Inc. staff, assigned assessors and experts along with the committees can maintain their independence with regard to the client's commercial interests. They are not subject to any pressure or influences that may negatively impact their assessment capabilities.
The impartiality of assigned assessors and experts is defined in the respective contracts and the guidelines for the appointment and commissioning of assessors and experts. Documentation regarding an assessment is provided in the relevant notes of the assessor/expert. All full-time and external employees of United States Accreditation Inc. are required to promptly notify management of any potential conflicts of interest.
